Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect attention, organisation, impulsivity and emotional regulation across the lifespan. Many adults have developed ways of coping or masking their difficulties, yet continue to experience ongoing challenges in daily life.
An ADHD assessment is a structured and collaborative process to explore whether your experiences are consistent with ADHD. The process typically begins with the completion of screening and background questionnaires, followed by a comprehensive clinical interview. Where appropriate, additional information may be gathered from a relevant informant to provide a fuller developmental perspective.
By the end of the assessment appointment, I will usually be able to indicate whether ADHD is present. Following this, I take time to compile a detailed written report, which includes diagnostic conclusions (where applicable), personalised feedback, and tailored recommendations.
The fee for the full assessment process, including questionnaires, interview and detailed written report, is £400.
